Tuesday Cook 4 A Cure – Each Friday we will post on Facebook a delicious recipe that you cook Tuesday night in honor of May Awareness Month. We're adding a twist ... submit your our recipe with something new added that gives it your own personal flare. We will choose the recipes that you love best to add to our special cookbook next year.
Wednesday – Wear blue and ask your family and friends to help you support neuro-immune disease awareness and research.
Thursday – Pay It Forward – Help someone with NID by taking them groceries, taking them to a doctor's appointment, bringing flowers, cooking them a dinner, whatever you can think of to show your support.
Friday – Distribute fliers about NID to local businesses such as libraries, bookstores and cafes. Click here to download.
Social Saturday – Educate your family, friends and doctors by writing letters, making phone calls or using social media. Tweet your favorite article on CFS, fibromyalgia, autism, Gulf War illness, etc. Blog facts about neuro-immune diseases. Download the facts sheet and spread the word! You can also download our ANIDA Facebook profile picture here and replace your profile picture during the month of May.
Sunday – Plant flowers, a bush or tree in memory of someone affected by a NID. You can even make a plaque "In Memory" of someone to place in the ground and send a donation to the WPI "In Memory Of." Read the how-to instructions after you click on the Donate Online button.
Host a TV night to share your favorite shows with your friends. Have fun with your friends while teaching them about NID and provide a copy of our brochure and ask them to distribute the brochures or fliers at local restaurants, coffee shops, bars and libraries. Click here for flyer.

May 8th is Mother's Day – Honor your mother or a mother you know that has a neuro-immune disease by submitting their story and photo to us. By sharing others stories of survival and courage we can bring hope to others suffering from the same diseases.
May 12th – Join others around the world for International CFS/ME Awareness Day by writing or visiting your state legislator or Congressperson. Under "Contact Your Legislator" you will find a sample letter you can send in.
May 28th – Host a walk around your community college campus, your local park, hospital campus, etc. Click here for walk flyer. Encourage everyone to wear their Advocates 4 Answers t-shirts and their butterfly pin to show support for NID. Click here to purchase a T-shirt or pin. The walk can be as short or as long as you want. Take the downloadable flyer with you to hand out to people and help spread the word. Let's end May Awareness Month on a positive note with one last show of support. Take pictures and share them on your Facebook page or email them to us to post online.
